FILM WORK: Production Assistant
Over the last 8yrs, Christa Qu'in has worked almost every role available in live entertainment and independent film. From her early days as a volunteer stage tech to running around as a PA for commercial shoots in NorCal, Christa loves any opportunity to learn more about the filmmaking process. Although she is currently limited to the software available on her mobile device, she always makes time to practice video editing techniques and spent five years competing in the California Film Foundation's 48-Hour Filmmaking Challenge and 10-minute Film Competitions.
In years past, Christa Qu'in would go above and beyond to assist local film festivals with events administration and digital marketing. Today, she spends whatever time she can in the post-pandemic world volunteering to aid local filmmakers as a kickass PA, camera operator, video editor, and boom operator.

Film Work: Commercial Actor
At the core of everything that fuels her spirit, there is nothing more innately fulfilling to Ms. Qu'in than the ability to Act. To set aside the ego. and allow oneself the freedom to sonder so deeply, we can see the world so effortlessly through the eyes of another.
With a background in classical theatre and indie film production, Christa Qu'in quickly earned a reputation for being an unforgettable presence on the stage. Always a sucker for Shakespearean plays, she tore herself away from that passion to accept commercial roles for a variety of commercial ads ranging from small business owners to Comcast.
When the pandemic wreaked havoc her industry, Christa had to place her acting career on hold, but that did not stop her from finding ways to perform. Always passionate about her craft, she continues to audition for film work online and looks forward to interviewing for Shakespearean and musical theatre again when the pandemic has passed.
