The name's Qu'in. Christa Qu'in.
Christa Qu'in is a multidisciplinary artist and published content creator from Sacramento, CA. She began her artistic journey at the age of three, when she loved nothing more than to paint pictures, dance naked, and watch Babylon 5. When she grew more accustomed to wearing clothes, she began training in martial arts and eventually moved on to teach and compete in dozens of nationally-acclaimed tournaments over the course of her 12 year competitive career. After 18 years of working and living while trapped in [redacted cult], Qu'in found freedom at the age of 20 and retired from martial arts to pursue her lifelong love of art, philosophy, and film production.
Always an eager student, Qu’in volunteered for every stage position she could sink her teeth into before ever stepping foot in front of a camera. After years of assisting on film sets and fighting for diversity in the field, she finally found acceptance in Sacramento's underground theatre world, earning immediate recognition across Northern California for her striking, sensual, and sometimes horrifying performance art. Often entertaining thousands every year as a traveling performer, she eventually made friends in the burner community and never looked back. Inspired by the principles that guide Black Rock City, Qu'in started dabbling in circus arts, returned to martial arts, and immediately started applying what she learned to her new bookings as a fire performer. Just as she was starting to make some real progress in that arena, Qu’in fell victim to a showgirl's worst nightmare, as the COVID-19 pandemic quickly spread across the globe. Decimating the entertainment industry and subsequently forcing hundreds of thousands of artists out of their primary fields of work.
Now, with a rekindled love of content writing and film production to guide her creative process, the villainess of the valley is back! Always grateful to her friends and beloved fanbase for their continuous love and support, Christa Qu'in seeks to collaborate with as many like-minded creatives as possible. Working and sharing, living and learning; and all while rebuilding her client-base as top-tier working arts professional.
